Aaron Childs

Aaron Childs

A musical swiss-army knife - Aaron Childs has been determined to devote himself to the groovy sound he calls Soul-Nostalgia. After a successful stint of single releases via Godmode records and landing an international sync for Apple's Slofie campaign with the Channel Tres (remix) of his song "Tangerine," Aaron has been fully independent. His most recent singles ”Butterflies & Benefits/4 Letters" have been making waves on Spotify and Apple Music appearing on playlists such as "Soul 'n' the City" and "New In Indie." Aaron is beginning to reach ears far and wide and without trapping himself in the eras he pulls from, he has managed to pay homage to the classic sounds of soul, rnb, and funk that came before him. Aaron has released his last two projects in partnership with Over Everything, a non-profit label and artist empowerment organisation based out of Los Angeles. He teamed up with producer Mars Today (Kyle Dion, DESTIN CONRAD, Siaira Shawn). Together they crafted a raw and authentic set of songs that showcase Aaron’s guitar and vocal chops. Mars’ soulful production tendencies perfectly offset Aaron’s penchant for the fun & funky. This past summer Aaron spent the better half of 3 months writing and gathering a collection of songs that inspired his next single. "OMW" is the introduction to a forthcoming EP titled “The Back Shack Demos” and will come out December 13th. The full EP is released February 2025.
